Subject: A poem about why you write poetry.
When I write poems I get to say;
Things from my heart expressed a different way;
Poetry allows me to express just how I feel;
It unlocks my heart and makes me feel real;
Thoughts in my mine sometimes are a total mess;
Saying it in poetry allows me to express;
It allows me to express my feelings, using what rhymes;
In such a way that you know the feelings from between the lines;
When life gets me down and answers are hard to see;
I can find the answers to my problems when I write poetry.
