The Amish Life Written by Martin white |

I get up in the morning before the sun, it does rise;
Making it to the kitchen, a candle I do light;
Facing a hard day of chores is what I do see;
Planting dur fields and running dur farm;
Hitching up the buggy, everywhere seems so far;
I have to find Mennonites, who souls are for sell;
Always dressed in black, might help me look thin;
At night I go to bed with my wife,
With 5 layers of cloths, to keep warm,
As most of you reading this, surely can see; |
