Poetry Games # 15: Subject Unconscious Mind
 

Everyone of us is walking around in a unconscious state;
Being Controlled by our emotions, determines our fate;
Little do we know that we all have the key;
To unlock our emotions and set them free;
In everyone’s mind there is a giant wall;
This wall is full of light switches, our emotions in all;
All of our switches are on, good ones and bad;
Love, hate, depression, happiness and sad;
I have a little secret I would like to share with you;
To be happy in life, shut off the bad ones,
 is all you have to do;
Once you shut off Anger, off it will stay;
Until you walk over and let it come out to play;
Anger needs to stay off, from what I can see;
It will destroy your life and is a waste of electricity;
Once you shut off Anger, it will give you a fit;
Make friends with your Anger to understand it;
You must learn to feel every emotion,
 in each and every room;
Feel your emotions, but your life it must not consume;
Always put out good energy, no matter what you do;
The kind of energy you put out, is what comes back to you;
When problems get you down and your emotions seem so large;
Remember you control the light switches,
 and the emotions will not be in charge.
